When Spirituality Makes You Smile in the Hardest Times
We often celebrate our victories, proudly connecting them to our hard work and struggles... But when life throws sorrow, pain, or setbacks our way, why is our first instinct to question God???
Have you ever found yourself asking, "Why me???"
Why do we credit ourselves for all that is good, yet blame the Divine for everything that goes wrong???
Many people reject the concept of karmic debt, believing that their current suffering is unfair... But what if the truth is deeper than what we can see??? What if our joys and pains are not just products of this lifetime, but echoes from previous ones???
Have you ever wondered why innocent infants suffer in hospitals, facing pain they never caused???
When we see such suffering, we cry, we question: “What could they have done to deserve this???” And slowly, we begin to lose faith...
I, too, once struggled with these questions... It was only through a moment of spiritual awakening that clarity began to emerge... This blog isn't just personal; it's a part of my spiritual journey, and perhaps, yours too...
Do you believe in karma???
Do you believe our actions follow us, lifetime after lifetime???
What I’ve come to understand is that each life is a step 'upward or downward' on a spiritual ladder... A step upward means we’ve cleared some karmic debt... A step downward means we've added more... Human life, I believe, lies at a midpoint, where joy and sorrow are distributed almost equally...
Wouldn’t you agree that we feel this balance every day; some moments full of joy, others heavy with sorrow???
The journey toward moksha (liberation) is slow, but every step upward counts... And the more good we do 'consciously, mindfully' the more we lighten our karmic burden...
But is it easy to walk this path??? Not at all...
Are we ready to let go of worldly desires, attachments, ego, and the need to control everything???
Saints smile in both joy and pain because they understand that even sorrow is a cleansing process; one more karmic lesson completed, one more step forward... They don’t resist life; they embrace it... Can we learn from that???
Imagine if we too could accept every situation 'good or bad' as part of a bigger, divine plan...
Would our lives feel lighter???
If you're facing obstacles or pain right now, pause and ask: Is this a reflection of something deeper???
Spirituality invites us to focus inward, not outward... To let go of comparison, blame, and resentment... To become the kind of person whose presence brings peac..e. Can you imagine creating such an aura where your inner light protects you from outside darkness???
Can you become someone who spreads joy without needing validation???
Recently, I saw a video of a child looking up at the sky and softly saying:
“So... it’s alright, God... It’s okay... I trust you...”
Isn’t that the essence of surrender???
When we truly trust the Divine, we stop needing answers... We start walking with faith... And eventually, we find that rare peace, that smile that appears not because life is perfect, but because our soul is aligned with truth...
So I ask you "Can you smile through your sorrow, knowing it's shaping your soul for something higher?"
